Due to ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19, the NSRC Board Members have decided to cancel the 2020 state conference.
"The Board met on Friday, March 20 to discuss the conference," said President Lil O'Neill. "Those who registered already will receive refunds."
Members who have already booked rooms can cancel their reservations with no penalty. They will need to call the hotel at 308-237-5971 or toll-free at 855-444-5769 option “0” to cancel.
Andy Marking is contacting vendors and speakers about the cancellations, she said.
O'Neill noted that extensions will NOT be granted for license renewal. Other opportunities to earn CEUs have been posted on the board's Facebook page. "
"Please make sure you have completed the required amount of CEUs before the renewal date!" she said.
The board also is working on a process to elect new board members. That information will be announced as soon as it's available.
Right now, the board is moving forward with planning the Spring 2021 conference.
"We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused, but we want to comply with the state and national guidelines," said O"Neill. "We also know it's important to keep you all safe and healthy to be able to take care of our patients in time of need."
