Nebraska Telehealth sets July sessions

The fourth session in the 2016 Chronic Disease Management Across the Continuum of Care Series is scheduled for July 20. Registration deadline is July 15.

The series is sponsored by Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, Community Asthma Education Initiative of Lincoln and the Nebraska Society for Respiratory Care.

The two-hour programs will be offered live at Madonna and via the Nebraska Telehealth Network across the state. They will meet the criteria for respiratory therapy and nursing continuing education units. The programs will occur every two months throughout the year.

The live programs at Madonna are offered free of charge.

The July 20 sessions include:

"Advanced Heart Failure" by Stacy Cerio, RN, MSN, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

"Ventricular Assist Device: Basic Management" by Rachel Smith, RN, BSN, CCRN-CSC, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
