Third telehealth session set for May 11
The third session in the 2016 Chronic Disease Management Across the Continuum of Care Series is scheduled for May 11. Registration deadline is May 6.
The series is sponsored by Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, Community Asthma Education Initiative of Lincoln and the Nebraska Society for Respiratory Care.
The two-hour programs will be offered live at Madonna and via the Nebraska Telehealth Network across the state. They will meet the criteria for respiratory therapy and nursing continuing education units. The programs will occur every two months throughout the year.
The live programs at Madonna are offered free of charge.
The May 11 sessions include:
“Anaplylaxis Management: More than Just an Epi Pen!” by Nan Nathenseon RRT, ACE 4:30-5:30 p.m. CST.
“Why Can’t I Breathe? Asthma vs. Vocal Cord Dysfunction” by Vinay Mehta MD, FAAAAI, FACAAI, and Lindsey Frohn, MS, CCC-SLP, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
